Entry And Exit From Microbiology Laboratory
Procedure:
Entry :
- Enter the Airlock of Microbiology Department.
- Remove shoes and place them at designated place.
- Remove Apron and wear boiler suit and booties.
- Enter in the microbiology laboratory.
Note : Before starting the work under laminar
airflow, wear face-mask and sterile gloves and dispose them after use. Disinfect
the hands with filtered 70 % v/v Isopropyl alcohol or hand disinfectant before
and after work.
Prepare
70 % IPA v/v weekly. (700 mL IPA and 300 mL purified water& filter through
0.45ยต membrane filter)
Exit:
- Remove the boiler suit and booties in the air Lock.
- Wear shoes.
- Wear apron and exit out from air Lock.
- After use the boiler suit and booties should be put for washing.
