Objective:
To
lay down a procedure for Entry and Exit to Quality Control Department.
Scope:
Applicable to all employees and visitors entering to and exiting from to Quality Control Department.

Procedure:
Entry To Quality Control Department (Employees)
- All employees, entering to Quality Control Department, will enter through the staircase at the back of administration block.
- Employees will remove street footwear and wear factory shoe provided in the change area.
- Employees will wear apron provided in the cupboard.
- Cross over the bench and enter in QC.
- No employee should enter the QC Department without Apron and shoe.
- Employees intending to handle chemicals should wear safety goggles.
Exit From Quality Control Department (Employees)
- Employee should go to change area and remove apron.
- The apron should be kept in the cup board.
- Employee should change factory shoes & wear street foot wear.
- Employee should move out through the staircase.
Entry To Quality Control Department (Visitors)
- All visitors entering to Quality control Department will enter through the staircase at the back of administration block.
- Visitors will wear apron provided in the cupboard.
- Visitors will wear shoe cover before entering to Quality Control Department.
- Visitors will then cross over the crossover bench and enter into Quality Control Laboratory. Any visitor (such as service engineers) intending to handle chemicals should use safety goggles. Goggles will be provided in wet lab area.
- Visitor should go to change area and remove apron.
- The apron should be kept in the cup board
- Visitor will remove shoe cover and discard them in the waste bin kept in change area.
- Visitor will move out.
Entry To Microbial Limit Test Room
- Enter the Airlock of Microbiology Limit Test Room.
- Remove shoes and place them at designated place.
- Remove Apron, wipe the hands with disinfectant (IPA-70%) cross over the bench and wear hand gloves, Headgear boiler suit and finally booties.
- Enter into the microbiology Limit Test Room.
Prepare 70 % IPA v/v weekly. (700 mL IPA and 300
mL purified water& filter through 0.45ยต membrane filter)
Exit From Microbial Limit Test Room
- Remove the Booties, boiler suit, Head Gear and Gloves in the air Lock.
- Wear shoes.
- Wear apron and exit out from air Lock.
- After use the boiler suit and booties should be put for washing Daily.
- Used aprons will be put washing twice in a weak.(Monday and Thursday).And same day fresh aprons will be taken.
