Objective:
To lay down a procedure to describe Cleaning of Quality Control Laboratory.

Scope:
Applicable to Quality Control Laboratory.

House keeping person : Clean the Laboratory

Cleaning Of Quality Control Laboratory

Procedure:
Floor Cleaning (Twice daily) 

1. Clean the floor with nylon broom every morning and evening.
2. Collect the waste in waste bin and transfer to waste disposal area. 
3. Transfer the waste in disposal area twice daily.
4. Mop the floor with 2.5 % v/v disinfectant solution (Take 10 liters of water in a bucket and add 250 ml of disinfectant).
5. Mop the floor with “Dettol disinfectant solution” on (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday). and “Savlon disinfectant solution” on (Thursday, Friday, Saturday). 

Cleaning of Doors, Windows and glass panels (Weekly)

1. Clean doors, windows and glass panels with dry mop. 

Cleaning of Ceiling

1. Clean ceiling with broom twice a month.

Cleaning of Working table

1. Clean working table at the end of every shift.
2. Mop with wet mop.
3. Mop with dry mop.
